Elimu Africa Grant Amount: $10,000 to sponsor disadvantaged students and for desks and chairs.
Additional Support to Cheju:
- Facilitated a 1000 GB Pounds donation from the Tanzania Development Trust for textbooks.
- Worked with the Tanzania Development Trust to obtain refurbished lab equipment from LabAid Trust.
- Worked with the Tanzania Development Trust to obtain refurbished computers from Computers 4 Africa.
2005-2008 Grant Recipients
Second chance Education Centre (SCEC), Moshi, Tanzania, East Africa
Elimu Africa Co-founders and Elimu Africa as an organization assisted SCEC.
Financial support: $28,000.00

- Arranged for outside volunteers to work at SCEC.
